Thanks for ammending my name! I'm the only person by that name and professionally it's a bit embarassing as in my line of work people do google it to find out where I'm at (I hate Facebook!) However, it still says "Claire Delafons said 25th Feb etc" when you google my name - is there anything you can do to remove the surname from the google reference?! Probably not but here's hoping! Sorry to ask and thanks for your help. I still love my calanetics and think it's really inspiring you've done this site, so thank you!

1985 I was doing callanetics, then 26 with young responding muscles, I saw great strengthening and toning results. NOW @ 50, I need to revisit the toning and stregthening for different reasons!! I have just ordered in DVD format super callanetics. Imagine, in 1985 it was VHS!! Wish me luck, I live at the beach and would like to continue wearing a 2 piece bathing suit!!

Hello everyone.
I am very interested in buying some callanetic videos, but not sure what I need to buy.
I do a bit of swimming and a little bit of toning, but not really much in the way of working out. I am 43 and out of shape.
I started low carb last Sept. and have managed to lose almost 30#, but I need to get a few areas toned up. Namely my butt, legs (the cellulite is almost gone), and of course upper and lower abs not to mention the obliques.
Would the 10 years in 10 hours be good, or should I go with the beginners? I am very anxious to start this, as summer will soon be upon me and I am so excited to wear shorts and not be embarrassed.
Thank you for your advice!!

I found this website because I just wanted somewhere to add my voice about these amazing excercises. This is out of character for me, but really, truly, all the hype is absolutely true - these excercises will transform you! I'm doing them again after many years of not, and am absolutely loving them. I've now been doing them for about 5 weeks, and I enjoy them so much I actually wake up keen to get out of bed and get going on them. My body feels so strong and bouncy! There really is nothing to match them for tightening up quickly, but more than that, they just make you feel so damned good! After Christmas I really felt out of shape and at 44 was feeling that perhaps the decline into middle age spread was inevitable. I was finding it really hard to get motivated about anything and felt tired all the time. I had to really push myself to start, but now I've so much more energy and zest for everything, my attitude has changed in every area of my life. I feel energised and healthy and am developing a better figure than I've had in years. I will keep going this time, and my advice, is just keep doing them - every day if you can (the "Countdown" excercises are great which just tone legs, bums or tums if you're short on time - I am! 2 todlers and working full time, but you can break them up too). Once you skip a day, it's easy to drop the habit, but keep going and you'll be so pleased with the results you won't want to stop. They also get much quicker to do as you improve. If you do it alongside losing weight, as I have, you'll get even more dramatic results. Good luck, just stay with it, and you will truly feel and look amazing - quickly!

I did callanetics about every 2nd day for about 2 years, I hasten to add this was about 6 years ago. Time has passed I am 53 and found the DVD a couple of weeks ago, I have got back into it and am starting to enjoy it again. I wondered if anyone knows how effective it will be at my age and after a gap this long. Thanks x

Has anyone used the am/pm callanetics? If so, how were your results and how often did you use them? I can't seem to find anyone anywhere who can give me this information.

Thanks!

Dear Chanel and other lovely people new to Callanetics,my humble advice is not to overdo it!This program includes gentle but intensive stretching, therefore always better to give your muscles and ligaments chance to recover a bit day in between exercises. If you have limited time before some ocasion than try to do more repetitions.Follow the DVD 3-4 times as it is and then just increase repetitions from 100 to 110 or 120.This way you will intensify your workout without putting too much pressure.
Regarding diet-this workout is purely lifting and toning-,not designed for weight loss. You WILL lose inches for sure, but dont expect pounds to follow. To start losing weight you need to revise your calorie intake FOR SURE.
Me myself I used to do callanetics 20 years ago before and after pregnancy with amazing results, particularly after the delivery. My stomach was in shape in no time!
I am 40 now, started Callanetics again! Results are quick, starting from stomach again, buttocs took more time and effort to wake, but also perfectly lifted after only 8 hours.
Callanetics works!

Best wishes!
